Completing your PhD is a special occasion that deserves a proper celebration. Whether it’s drinks, an intimate dinner or a huge party, it will be a success at Brasserie Buitenhuis. By bike it’s just 15 minutes from the center of Leiden!

Drinks

Invite family and friends for drinks and snacks from Paul’s Boutique or a special selection of either Dutch, Mediterranean or Asian appetizers with optional deluxe bruschetta’s.

Dinner

For your group we would like to offer one of our special menus. Be surprised by our special tasting-menu prepared by the chef or create your own selection based on the menu.

Buffet or barbecue 

Looking for something more informal for your PhD party? Consider a barbecue or buffet. We will provide seats and tables, both inside and outside.

Party

Brasserie Buitenhuis’s cottage is perfect for an unforgettable party. Bands or DJs are more than welcome.  Play your favorite tunes and dance the night away. The cottage terrace is yours exclusively for the duration.

Canal cruise

Start the festivities with a canal cruise from the faculty building? It’s one of the many things we can organize for you. We have luxurious boats, with skipper and catering, that will take you on a beautiful cruise through the city center and will drop you off close to Brasserie Buitenhuis.
